Arlene Russell 

Arlene Russell, an American Director, Producer, and Screenwriter, started her television career in 1997 as a Producer with Access Houston Channel. As a Producer, she directed and produced live community awareness shows, such as, The Shampu Show, The Dr. Conte Terrell TV Talk Show along with Savvy and Thrive 360, hosted by CleRenda MCGrady. In addition to undergirding others with their entertainment visions, Arlene also produced and hosted her very own talk show, Generation 2000. Through her experience of hosting shows, she developed a passion for storytelling, which landed her an opportunity to direct her first documentary in 2018, The World Famous, Debate Coach, Dr. Thomas Freeman. She is currently directing, The James Harrell Story which gives an account and behind the scenes spotlight of life after prison.
